Read your grinder’s instructions first
Cleaning procedures differ between grinders. Unplug an electric grinder before any cleaning or disassembly, and follow its manufacturer’s instructions. Do not put burrs or motor assemblies in water unless the manufacturer explicitly permits it.
Remove accessible loose grounds
Use the recommended brush to remove loose dry grounds from accessible areas. Do not force adjustment mechanisms or remove parts not described as user-serviceable. Clean the grounds container using its care instructions.
Pay attention to your coffee and routine
Oily beans and frequent use can leave more residue. Check the grinder regularly and follow the recommended maintenance schedule. Use cleaning products only when they are approved for your model.
Check settings after reassembly
Reassembly may change the effective setting. Follow the manual to restore the grinder, then make a small brew and adjust as needed. Stop using the grinder if it behaves abnormally.
